Take a plain red shirt and add some pattern material and what do you get? A very nice cheap shirt from Markham.

The printed material makes me think of some wallpaper one of my friends had when i was a little boy. I think back then it was cowboys and indians. Not sure what the images are in this pattern, probably not cowboy and indians because it would be politically incorrect in this day and age?

Either way it’s a nice shirt, even if you aren’t politically inclined.

So I decided to wear this amazing shirt to a gallery opening the other night. One of my very special friends Mister Stephen Graham had his first solo exhibition and I decided it would be the perfect time to debut this shirt as well. On arrival the same Mister Stephen Graham asked me why I am wearing a curtain to his event……

Yes he was joking but it made me start to wonder what other household things I could wear and call it FASHION!

Back to the shirt, how amazing is this print? Yes it might look like the material came from that old couch that your grandmother loved. But I think it is beautiful… and especially for winter it will look amazing underneath a blazer.

It is actually starting to worry me how I keep going back to James Bond characters in my mind when I start writing descriptions for my posts. It clearly had a huge impact on my life.

Anyway, back to this shirt, which I am not sure if one can call it a shirt because it is made from like jersey material, and I can’t think of a good mash up between the words shirt and jersey…shisey? jerirt?… not working.

So much to my surprise my work colleague / friend Peter has decided to give himself a makeover this 2013. And let me tell you, it’s one week in, and he is doing very well.

Yesterday he rocked up to the office wearing these beautiful lumo orange trousers. Now, I have been working with Peter on and off for almost 2 years and I dont think I have ever EVER seen him wear anything apart from jeans…ALMOST NEVER. I almost dropped my freezochino.

Well done Peter, can’t wait to see what other tricks you have up your sleeve.

Happy New Year everybody! I hope all of you had and awesome break, but now it is back to business. And we start off this year with some shoes…. because our feet are important too. And important feet need important shoes to look all stylish in, shoes like these ones.

I am not sure how everyone is going to feel about this shirt. I love the print and the colours…but lately I have been fascinated with smaller and colourful prints… so this shirt might just be beautiful to me. I like these kind of prints because they are interesting.

Don’t get me wrong, I love me some one colour shirts, or some neon shorts, but I am finding myself moving more towards combinations of colour. That movie with Robin Williams comes to mind, where he is in limbo and he swims through colours…..

In the spirit of the American election fever that has swept the WORLD, I found it apt to post this shirt from Zara. Yes I know it is not the American flag but it reminds me of the flag so much. It also reminds me of a Transformer….. or Hall 9000…. or lego blocks…
